Do you like watching movies and TV shows? It would be better if you can learn new things while watching.
After all, you would feel great if you can be a bit productive each day of your life. It is a good thing that is what Lingopie is all about.
What is Lingopie?
Lingopie is a language education platform that gives you TV shows and movies that are available in six different languages.

It gives advanced learners the opportunity to learn words and phrases of the language they want to learn more about through these TV shows.
The languages available on Lingopie include Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, and German.
How does Lingopie work?
You will need to sign up and pay for an account. After that, you will have access to all the videos there and there is really no order as to what video you would need to watch first.
You can watch any video then just pause it then continue some other time if you wish to do so.
The videos here are for entertainment purposes but there are also some instructional videos. It is highly recommended that you watch all the videos on the Lingopie app since it is easy to navigate around the app. It is normal to have some navigation problems here and there but that can easily be resolved.
When you search for the videos to watch, you can see the title and a small preview due to the thumbnail of each show. When you move your mouse over to the thumbnail, a few more details will be revealed to you like the level, runtime, and genre.
Unfortunately, there is no way to sort the videos here by level as you would have no choice but to manually look for the ones that are a beginner if you are just starting in a certain language.
How much does Lingopie cost?
Lingopie costs $99 per year if you sign up for a family account that can accommodate up to four people. On the other hand, if you sign up for yourself then it will only cost $65 per year. If you do the math and compute the amount you will pay monthly, you will just need to shell out $12 per month.
Unfortunately, the prices won’t be revealed until you sign up for it.
Of course, you deserve to know the costs of what you are signing up for. After all, you are going to pay your hard-earned cash and you should be able to compare it to programs that are somewhat similar.
Is Lingopie legit and worth paying for it?
Judging from all the awesome reviews that Lingopie has gotten about its content, it would be wise to give it a try. After all, there is a one-week free trial and if you don’t like what you see then you can always cancel it.
Be sure to cancel the free trial before it ends though or else you will get charged since signing onto the free trial would make you provide them with your credit card number.
When you are not familiar with a word while you are watching a video, you can click on it then a pop-up card will show up showing the translation of the word. Later on, you can dig more into it since it will get saved. There is even the option to slow down the dialogue if you think the actors in the movies are speaking a bit too fast for your liking.
Other Information Related to Lingopie
The main page would show you all of the videos that you recently watched so you can easily continue those videos the next time you log on to Lingopie.
However, you won’t be able to favorite any of the videos so you can just watch the videos for a few seconds then just continue them some other time. Also, there is an option to have a script of the movie’s dialogue appear on the screen but when you maximize the video player then it will be gone.
There is an option for the subtitles to be English then one word to be shown in the language that you choose to learn with the app.
